It’s a new year, which brings the desire to organize every inch of my home. I hate to admit that I have so much clutter and a disorganized mess most of the time. In an effort to feel like I have my stuff more together and to make things more neat and tidy for my whole family, I am slowly adding items to our home that help with organization and cleaning/ getting rid of things in the process!
An easy place to start that most guests wouldn’t see when coming to our home, is our dressers. Specifically, the dresser in Noah’s room. How many times in the middle of the night with a newborn do you need to do a quick diaper and outfit change? I know I personally didn’t want to frantically go through a pile of mismatched and mis-sized outfits to find the right one (especially in the middle of the night), so I wanted to add a simple organizational strategy to keep it neat and tidy for everyone, whether dad, grandma, or a babysitter is in need of something for baby!
I found these drawer cubes that are perfect! This pack comes in different sizes, so I’m able to easily organize onesies, zipper pjs, burp cloths, etc! I also have this set in our toddler’s dresser as well. It only took me 10 minutes tops to go through all of his clothes and take out items he outgrew and organize into the cubes. A simple task that isn’t too daunting as you think about organizing your home for the new year!
